The EIBE Family.
EIBE Unit 18 provides an inexpensive practical laboratory-based
simulation of genetic screening, in which students are asked
to determine the inheritance of a ficticious genetic condition
from DNA samples. Included are 30 graphic pages designed to be
printed as overheads transparencies.
The Unit also presents a structured discussion of some of
the issues that arise from genetic screening of humans, and emphasises
the importance of genetic counselling.
